Crime Wave Hits Domino!

Domino citizens are becoming more concerned due to the recent increase of police officers on the streets. "There concern is justly met," says Chief of Police Nakajo. For the past two weeks, what is being referred to by police as a "crime wave" has swept over Domino City. The police have kept quiet about this information until now in hopes of finding the criminal. However, with no new leads and an increase in victims, the police are now calling for the public to be aware and help to bring the criminal to justice.

"This is a very dangerous person, and should any citizen notice suspicious behavior, they are to contact authorities immediately," Chief Nakajo said earlier today in a press conference. Any information about the criminal is limited. Eye witnesses report seeing a person dressed all in black, either breaking into homes or accosting citizens on the street. "No where is safe from this criminal, which is why Domino needs to come together and act quickly to bring justice and peace," continued Chief Nakajo. The criminal also leaves his mark on the victims, but police refuse to answer any questions as to what this mark is, saying that leaking that information would be detrimental to their investigation.

Besides the dark attire, the criminal only attacks at night, sneaking up like a shadow on unsuspecting victims, earning him the nickname Shadow from the police. The level of violence varies from victim to victim, and there is no indication yet as to why the criminal uses more violence on some than others. The most recent attack still has Udou Sayu in the hospital from stab wounds.

What has Chief Nakajo most concerned is that robbery does not seem to be the only motive in these cases: “The criminal seems to enjoy inflicting physical pain on others. If the criminal is not caught soon, we will more than likely see an increase in the severity of wounds, and possible fatalities.”

The police have offered several tips to help stay safe: Do not stay out late at night, though if you must, travel with a group of people; lock all doors and windows; keep a phone by you in the home so you can quickly call for help. "Don't be a hero," Chief Nakajo urges. "Let the police do their jobs to help keep you safe."

(( No, this is not my plot. I'm just doing the dirty work! *cackles* AND I'M ALIVE, OMG. *ded* ))
