[18:25] fai tiger: "Mahaado's still working upstairs, nothing to report to ya," he said before turning back to Azizi and grinning weakly at him. "Heh, ya got that right furball..."

[18:26] fluffysongbird: "Oh..." Katsuya sighed sadly.
[18:27] fai tiger: "If something happens, you'll know."
[18:27] fluffysongbird: "Okay."
[18:28] Omega19x: Mahaado continued working, passing energy between he and his ka (currently inside his other self). He could see it moving through the barrier, but could not make it flow properly.
[18:29] fai tiger: Honda stared up at the ceiling and decided he wasn't willing to go up and see what the hell was going on, not at the risk of interrupting Mahaado's concentration.
[18:31] Omega19x: Finally he pulled his ka from the other's body, and picked up his ritual knife. "Take my lifeblood. Take my heart. Take anything that I might be able to give..."
[18:32] Omega19x: He pierced his chest, though not too badly, and took the blood upon his hands. He smeared it with the eyepaint, trying to gain more insight from the eye of Ra. The sun was nearing the horizon. There wasn't much time left at all.
[18:32] fluffysongbird: Katsuya took a seat on the couch, feeling very worried. "So, Azizi-kun, I brought you some sugar cookies..." He didn't look at the little furball, instead staring into space.
[18:32] silverbluedreams: And Mado was still dead as a doorknob.

[18:36] silverbluedreams: Delwyn was sitting upstairs with Mahaado, observing but doing her best to stay out of the way. Occasionally she glanced out the window, noting the time.
[18:37] fai tiger: "Well, party's almost all here..." Honda murmured to Azizi, then looked out a window as well.
[18:37] Omega19x: He kept casting spell after spell. He even attempted to summon the goddess herself into him, so that he could more directly work her magic, but found that path painfully blocked.
[18:38] Omega19x: So much so, that he was thrown clear out the door and into the banister.
[18:38] fai tiger: Honda blinked and hurried over.
[18:39] fluffysongbird: Katsuya hesitated a bit before running.
[18:39] Omega19x: Mahaado shook it off, and stumbled back into the room where his other self lay. The sun was starting to set. "No... Not yet."
[18:39] fai tiger: He raced up the stairs and to Mahaado's side. "What the fuck now1"
[18:40] Omega19x: There were likely only minutes left...
[18:40] fluffysongbird: "Oh, oh dear..."
[18:40] fai tiger: Honda bit his lip and cautiously lightly patted Mahaado's shoulder.
[18:41] fluffysongbird: Katsuya began to shed tears.
[18:41] Omega19x: He put his mouth upon his other self's and attempted to breathe his very life into him. "No. Other me... please... Ra, use my eyes. Allow me to use yours... please..."

[18:42] Omega19x: (no, Katsuya, this isn't cheating)

[18:42] fai tiger: Honda faded to the background, just watching...
[18:43] fluffysongbird: "He...he's gone forever, isn't he...?"
[18:43] Omega19x: "No!" Mahaado trembled, struggling to keep his mind clear, his emotions buried where they belong.

[18:44] fai tiger: "Go ahead and cry," Honda said quietly, coming up to pat Mahaado's shoulder again. "It only hurts so much because you care so much..."
[18:45] silverbluedreams: Watching the scene made Delwyn's heart break. It brought back memories of her own losses.
[18:45] Omega19x: "Osiris... please..." he looked up at the window, and back down at his other self. Tears swelled behind his eyes.
[18:46] fluffysongbird: "I...I have f-faith in you, Mr. Mahaado... I...really do..."
[18:47] Omega19x: "I... I am sorry. I am sorry... I am sorry..." He simply could not hold it within him any longer. Tears fell down his cheek, falling onto his other self's face.
[18:47] fai tiger: Honda continued silently patting and rubbing Mahaado's shoulder.
[18:48] fluffysongbird: "Y-you did your best..." Katsuya collapsed on the floor and sobbed heavily.
[18:48] Omega19x: "No..." he looked up at the window. The sky was a dark red as Ra continued to descend beneath the horizon.
[18:49] Omega19x: "No, please..." For a moment he considered stopping time itself, though he did not have that ability, nor the strength to cast it.
[18:49] Omega19x: All he had the strength left to do was... was cry.
[18:50] fluffysongbird: "M-Mado-chan...I...I just...wanted to say...I love you. And...and I'm sorry...I'm sorry I didn't say it enough..."
[18:51] fai tiger: "Is Ra taking his eye back now?" Honda asked, not making it clear if he was directing the question to Mahaado, Azizi, no one, or Ra himself.
[18:51] Omega19x: *kuri?*
[18:52] fai tiger: Honda looked to Azizi and gave a slight nod before going back to quietly rubbing Mahaado's shoulder again.
[18:53] fluffysongbird: Katsuya reached out to touch the body one last time.
[18:53] Omega19x: Tears spilled on Mado as Mahaado opened his mouth. He then stood up and turned around.
[18:53] fai tiger: Honda dropped his hand and stared up at Mahaado.
[18:54] Omega19x: "Katsuya..." Mahaado's voice trembled. "If... if you like, Priest Seth can oversee the burial rituals."
[18:54] fluffysongbird: "I...I can't bear to leave him..."
[18:55] Omega19x: He paused, and looked at everyone in the room before lowering his head again. "I... I am sorry..."
[18:55] silverbluedreams: "Mahaado," Delwyn fluttered closer. "You tried your best. No one can fault you for that..."
[18:55] fai tiger: Honda tilted his head, as if baffled by what Mahaado was saying.
[18:56] fluffysongbird: "I...I'd rather be the one dead... I want to join you, Mado-chan!"
[18:56] Omega19x: The sun had now set. He did not answer her, or anyone else. He simply lowered his head and walked out of the room. The shop door could be heard opening and closing again.
[18:57] fai tiger: Honda couldn't do anything but stare after him.
[18:57] fai tiger: "...It should have worked," he whispered.
[18:57] Omega19x: *kuri kuri kuri kuri. Kuri kuri kuri kuri!*
[18:58] silverbluedreams: A sharp inttake of breath disturbed the relative silence of the room. Mado's face had gone from deathly still to a painful grimace as air filled lungs that hadn't been used in a few days.
[18:58] fai tiger: Honda turned his gaze to Azizi, then quickly to Mado.
[18:58] Omega19x: *kuri!!!!*
[18:59] fluffysongbird: Katsuya's tearful eyes looked up. "M-Mado-chan...?"
[18:59] fai tiger: "Heh, welcome back," Honda whispered.
[18:59] fluffysongbird: "MADO-CHAN!" Katsuya got up and ran towards his husband.
[19:00] silverbluedreams: ((shoot. i wish you hadn't done that...))
[19:00] fluffysongbird: ((Why not? This is Katsuya.))
[19:00] fai tiger: Honda shook his head slightly and shakily rose to go after Mahaado.
[19:01] silverbluedreams: ((because he doesn't realize at the moment where he is, and i was going to blow a hole in the wall))

[19:01] Omega19x: (well, there's already one in the roof unless Honda fixed it)

[19:13] fai tiger: Honda spent awhile longer trying to find Mahaado, before deciding that he'd apparently disappeared. And disappeared somewhere Honda didn't know to follow to, at that.

[19:22] silverbluedreams: "All right you fucker," he managed to gasp out. "I'm going to rip you to pieces and scatter you to the four winds..."
[19:23] fluffysongbird: "M-Mado-chan? It's me, Katsuya! Don't you remember me...?" Yes, something was very wrong. "Help!"
[19:23] fai tiger: Honda let himself back in the shop and tromped up the stairs again.
[19:24] silverbluedreams: Mado tried to clamber off the bed, not realizing that he was even on one, nevermind where exactly he was. "I'll find you Marik, I promise..."
[19:25] fluffysongbird: "Mado-chan, it's okay! He's not here..."

[19:26] fai tiger: Honda sighed as he walked into the room. "Neither is Mahaado unfortunately."

[19:27] fai tiger: Honda strode over to Mado and gripped his shoulders, pushing him down again. "You, recently back from the dead, rest damnit."

[19:28] silverbluedreams: Mado was still out of it, and only registered the restraint. He tried to fight, despite not having the strength to.
[19:28] Omega19x: Azizi scampered under the bed. *kuri kuri kuri kuri kuri kuri kuri kuri kuri*
[19:29] fluffysongbird: "We need help! Get Mahaado...or...somebody! Anybody!"
[19:29] fai tiger: Honda growled. "I told you, he's not here."
[19:29] fluffysongbird: "Well, then get someone else!"
[19:30] fai tiger: "...I'm a little busy holding your boy-toy in bed, sorry. You and the fairy princess," he nodded in Delwyn's general direction, "go get someone then."
[19:31] silverbluedreams: "I'll see if I can track Mahaado down," Delwyn replied, choosing to ignore the fairy princess comment.
[19:32] fluffysongbird: "Okay!" Katsuya's mind wasn't working all that well at the moment, but oh well.
[19:33] fai tiger: Honda thought about making a snide comment of Delwyn's chances of finding Mahaado, since he hadn't been able to, but keeping Mado in place seemed more important.
[19:34] silverbluedreams: Mado swung out with a closed fist.
[19:34] silverbluedreams: ((you may have to punch him a few times to get him back to the here-and-now honda))
[19:34] fluffysongbird: "Oh no..." Katsuya gripped one of Mado's arms.

[19:35] fai tiger: "You were dead, dunno if you knew that," he told Mado, easily avoiding the swing. "Really worried a lot of people."

[19:37] fai tiger: Honda shifted, pushing Mado further down. "Yo, wakey-wakey time baka," he said and sharply tapped Mado's forehead.
[19:38] silverbluedreams: Which simply made him swing out again.

[19:38] fai tiger: ((InnerHonda: But... but... Katsuya's watching!))
[19:39] fai tiger: Honda rolled his eyes and shifted to try to pin those arms if he could.

[19:45] fai tiger: Honda sighed, shifted again, and lightly pushed Katsuya out of his way so he could lift a fist to give Mado a punch to the jaw.

[19:47] fai tiger: "Either go get help like you kept insisting or stay out of the fucking way," Honda replied sharply.
[19:47] silverbluedreams: A ball of dark energy was beginning to take form in one of Mado's hands.
[19:48] fluffysongbird: And Katsuya took hat as his cue to leave to find Delwyn.
[19:48] fai tiger: Honda shook his head and hit Mado again, harder, since words obviously hadn't helped Mado any.
[19:52] silverbluedreams: Mado's head shot back slightly, and the black energy disappeared. His eyes widened as he stopped, and was snapped out of his vengeful rage. "What the..."
[19:52] fluffysongbird: "Miss Delwyn? Where are you...?" Katsuya put a fist over his wounded heart, still feeling the pain from Honda's words.
[19:53] fai tiger: "You were dead, now you're alive," Honda hissed, glaring down at Mado.
[19:53] fai tiger: "Welcome party got rather disbanded when one, didn't look at first like it'd worked, and two, you started trying to attack."
[19:54] fai tiger: Honda gave Mado a long stare before cautiously deciding it was safe to release him and get off the bed.
[19:55] fai tiger: "Azizi, please find whoever you can," he calmly ordered the kuribo.

[19:56] Omega19x: And Azizi scuttled downstairs after the others.
[19:56] silverbluedreams: Mado sat up fully. "That jerk actually killed me?"
[19:56] fluffysongbird: Katsuya was just about to leave the building, seeing as he guessed Delwyn already left.

[19:58] fai tiger: "Someone did, yes. I didn't have a chance to ask which of the many jerks in Domino it was."
[19:58] silverbluedreams: Delwyn actually hadn't left, having made it down the stairs and stopping short of leaving. She wasn't an expert on tracking to begin with, and it appeared to her as if he had just disappeared entirely.
[20:00] fluffysongbird: "Oh. There you are. I wonder how I could have missed you... I wonder if Honda-kun and Mado-chan are doing okay..."

[20:08] fai tiger: And since Azizi had yet to bring anyone upstairs again... Honda realized that apparently he would have to get them himself. "You stay put and rest, you need it. I'll find your precious husband," he sighed.
[20:09] fluffysongbird: "Something's wrong, isn't there..." Katsuya hoped that no one was hurt too badly.
[20:09] fai tiger: Honda left the room and promptly saw Katsuya. "He's fine now, come see him."
[20:10] fai tiger: He quickly went to look for Delwyn and Azizi.
[20:10] fluffysongbird: "Oh...th-thank you!" Katsuya dashed in the room past Honda.

[20:15] fluffysongbird: Katsuya made his way over to the bed where his husband lay. "Oh, Mado-chan... I missed you so much."

[20:16] fai tiger: Honda snorted in laughter. "Yeah, figures ya'd see it like that."
[20:16] fluffysongbird: Katsuya began to kiss Mado's face all over.

[20:21] fai tiger: He sighed. "There's no telling where he could have gotten to. Plus, Mado needs to rest, and Katsuya isn't terribly likely to help that fact..."

[20:23] fai tiger: Honda rubbed his forehead and slowly went up the stairs again, too drained to comment on Delwyn's quietness.
