Summary: IC!Mahaado was interested in learning about Mana's other self, in which he runs in with not only OOC!Mana, but his OOC!self. What will happen next?!

Mahaado, intrigued by the prospect of meeting Mana's other self. He agrees to meet the other Mana at the Domino City Park.

Mana, who was her cheery and hyper self was bouncing up and down, as she looked around, placing her hand on her forehead, moving her head. "Priest Mahaado!!" She said, with running and then smiling while doing so. "How have you been?!"

"I have been better, Mana. This has been a disorienting week, to say the least."

"Disorienting week? By what do you mean by that? What has happened?" She asked, while tilting her head.

"Arriving here, in this new world. That has been disorienting enough, but it is good to see that my apprentice is safe, and apparently, now so is her 'other self."

Ah, yes. To learn on how to use a shower, refridgerator...I want this world to go back to what it was...too confusing in this era...and it's great that my teacher is safe as well!"

"It seems everyone has a 'twin' so to speak, here. I do wonder if I have one as well."

"I wonder also..." And just like that, the other Mahaado came out suddenly, being his usual pissy self. "Why is there another me here?" He pointed to the other Mahaado.

Mahaado blinked a little. "..." And he was taken aback by the mirror image of himself that suddenly appeared out of the bushes.

"Tell me..." He said, sternly. "Everyone has a twin, so that means twice the happy, fun fun times!!!" Mana said, cheerily.

"You must be my 'other self."

"Hmph, why yes. I actually am, thank you for noticing." The other Mahaado said, wih placing a hand on his hip, smirking a little.

"I am pleased to make your aquaintance."

"Same here, whatever." He said, with a sigh. "Ra, this place is more boring than watching a river go past." "Your other self is quite confusing, Priest Mahaado..." She blinked a little.

"Though, it confuses me. To you, I am his 'other self' correct? And he is Priest Mahaado. To me, it is the other way around."

"Mm, one would suppose, but I am also confused. There are six Pharaoh Atemu's?" Mana asked, with another blink.

"There are just as many Bakurae running around. But I have learned this - they are not all the ones we remember. Some are... present day incarnations, and their lighter halves, or something of that nature. They are ones from this world."

"Oh....I see..." Mana said, with trying to think of as to of why there are so many clones of other people running amuck. Ah! Headache.

"As far as I know, there are only two of us. I do not know how to explain it either, Mana. There are magical forces at work far beyond my control."

"Mm, yes...that's at least not as confusing as the others." Mana said, with another smile. "Can I go now? I'm sick and tired of hanging around here." The other Mahaado said, with another sigh. "Ah...I see..."

"You do not find this the least bit intriguing?"

"No, not really. It's really a waste of my time, really." He sighed just a little.

"But such magic could bring harm to the pharaoh, or one of his present incarnations. Does that not concern you?"

Mahaado gritted his teeth, and then said. "Fine, I'll stay just for a little while...that's it." He said, with crossing his arms over his chest. Mana said in her head. I really don't want any animosity!

"So it does not conercn you. It seems, although you are like me, you are at the same time, not."

"It does concern me, in a little way." He said, with another sigh. "Please no fighting, I'll get very sad that way...." Mana said, with her usual happy smile turning to a frown.

"There apparently is also two of each sennen item. And neither of us have a sennen ring. The thief has one. And with it, his danger grows."

Maahado said. "I see, and his other self has the other one? Oh, just damn great." He sighed irritably.

"No, I do not know where the other one is."

"Oh, yay." "But, if any danger comes to us, I'll fight them off!" Mana said, with another smile.
"Though two of the thief's present incarnations are residing with guardians of two other items. That also worries me. And Mana, that would not be wise. The reincarnation of priestess Isis allowed me to use her sennen tauk. To fight with the thief now would spell our doom. He is too powerful. The vision it provided was clear."

"Aishizu? And, alright." Mana said, with a nod. "And what vision? And, if you must know, I haven't met the other members of the household yet that I'm staying in. They all seem nice..." Mana blinked with another smile.

"You are staying in that place?"

"Yes, temporarily." Mana answered, with another smile. "Why?"

"I still find the idea very unsettling. To be in an abode with two of the thief's incarnations. Mana, I worry for you. You are merely an apprentice magician."

"Yes, I know that...but, if it's concerning you, I suppose I could room with you for just a little until I get my apartment secured." She blinked again.

"You would need to ask your 'other self.' She has been kind enough to lend me shelter."

"Oh, okay. I'll ask my other self!" Mana said, with another bright smile.

"I am currently staying in her apartment, until she returns from the healers. I do not think she would mind. You two would get along well."

"Yes, we probably would." Mana said, with another smile. "Besides, it's like old times, correct?"

"Quite so. Only double. Other Mahaado, are you also in need of a place to reside?"

"Hmm, okay. I'll tell Aishizu later that I'm staying with Priest Mahaado." She smiled yet again. Maahado's eyes blinked. "Oh.....yes." He said, with not wanting to admit it. "Until you find other arrangements, perhaps it would be for the best if all of us stayed close together." "Fine, I'll accept." Maahado said, with another little sigh. "YAY. HAPPY FAMILY!!" Mana said, with bouncing up and down.

"Of some sort, I do believe it is. Though there is a lot to get used to. How are the both of you fairing?"

"Me? Not that well. I can't figure how to use the bath called a 'washing machine'." Mana said, with another blink. "I just got here..." Mahaado said, with a blink.

"An aquaintance of mine, Honda, showed me around his home. The 'washing machine' is used for our robes. I do not know yet how to work one, though."

"Oh. That's what it's used for. And, I can't get used to using that kiln that's called an oven..." She blinked a little.

"Honda used a smaller one. He called it a 'microwave' and it is much faster than that."

"Oh...you mean that one with those numbers on it? I would really like one in hierogylphics, though." Mana said, with another blink.

"Ah, difficulties in language. I can fix that."

"You can...?" Mana said, with beaming. "THANK YOU, PRIEST MAHAADO!"
Mahaado closed his eyes, and starts chanting in Egyptian. A burst of yellow light emerges from his palm, and encircles both of the other magiciains. "That should help. A language spell I developed to aid in the pharaoh's economic ventures with new kingdoms. It allows us to understand, and thus communicate, with almost anyone."

Mana and Mahaado both felt something, as they both blinked, as they said, in the language that was used to communicate. "Thank you."

"I am glad I spent so many moons developing that spell now."

"And, plus, it'll help me greatly when I go to a restaurant for something to eat. I have been getting a lot of odd looks for speaking in Egyptian."

"it has come in quite handy. Though some colloquial phrases are difficult to understand in context."

"Ahh, I understand." Mana nodded her head, smiling.

"It has helped me locate a place to offer my services. In this world, that is the only way I have found that you can acquire the paper they use for trading."

"Trading? Writing on papyrus?" Mana blinked again.

"Have you not noticed yet how this world is obsessed with buying and selling of goods? It became evident to me that I needed 'money' in order to buy many of the things that were provided to high priests back home."

"I have noticed, but I thought that we'd buy it with gold. And, it has become somewhat evident when I need to purchase sugar and whatnot."

"I did not arrive here with any gold, I am afraid. I was lucky the gods and goddesses were watching out for me, and that I quickly found a kindhearted individual."

"Who is that good samartian?" Mana blinked for a little, feeling oh so curious!

"Rishid Ishtar. Brother of the woman you were staying with. His face is covered in hieroglyphics, in a text I wrote, curiously."

"Oh. I see." Mana nodded. "What did those hieroglyphics say?"

"It is a pledge of loyalty that I wrote for the honor of the pharaoh. I assume he must have also given a pledge of loyalty to someone."

"Ahh, I see. When I see this 'Rishid', it'll probably make me remember someone who was in the past, supposedly." Mana said, with another smile.

"He is quite a kind soul. Very loyal. He knows the true meaning of honor and duty. I respect him greatly."

"I guess he'll be a great friend!" Mana said, with jumping up and down. "Hmm..." Mahaado said, with thinking. "Does anyone want to tell me as to of what's happening in this time period?"

"What's currently happening in this time? I am not entirely sure."

"Well, you've been here the longest, and without the other Mana, we both turn to you." Mahaado said, with a little smirk.

"I have been here for about a week. I am as confused as you."

"Oh. Well, then, sorry." He said, with another little sigh. "I guess we all turn to the other me?" Mana said, with a little smile.

"I am hoping she will shed light on things as well. Though I have learned a few things in the manner of food preparation using the 'microwave' device, and such. Some things come with instructions."

"Oh, I see. For me, I usually buy some really good chocolate or some sugar in bags." Mana said, with another smile.

"There are a lot of different foods in this world, that is most certain. Not all of them I have found palatable."

"What kind of different foods? I have bought some 'cookies' from this world, and haven't tried them out at all."

"The sheer variety amazes me. So many different kinds of fruit, vegetables, things that could never have been grown in Egypt. And never a shortage of grains, not like that one summer. And water. There is so much of it. As though this world does not know the meaning of the word 'drought."

"I see. I wonder if this world knows about drought as well." Mana said, with another blink.

"Indeed, Hapi has smiled upon this world. Far more so than he did on ours."

"Yes, I agree..." Mana said, with a little sigh. "But, we shouldn't let that burden us--Ra has given us another chance at a somewhat better life. I suppose we have to incorporate it into our lives as well!" Mana said, with a smile.

"Of course." Mahaado smiled "I should take my leave of you. I discovered the locations of a temple, and I wish to investigate it."

"Ah, alright! I guess I will speak with you later!" Mana said, with another bright smile.

"Good day to you both."

"Good day!"

"Yes, good day..."
