And the winner of Domino Idol is...

Characters: OOC!Anzu ([info]friendshipisgod), Kat-chan ([info]princess_uke), and OOC!Honda ([info]evilsexmonkey)

Setting: the mall. :|

Rating: PG. Cute fluff stuff, and Anzu's like, thinking of swearing... ^^;

Summary: For revenge on Katsuya for making her not swear for a day, Anzu makes him sing to Honda. Note: The song is in Japanese, and... I didn't bother to translate it. And... I don't know most of the words anyway, because I can't read kanji. ^^; Just so you know: "Kimi wa hitori janai yo" means "You are not alone" and "Itsumo mune no naka de" means "Always in my heart". So, yeah, it's a pretty sappy song. XD;

Hanging his head down low to hide his red cheeks, Katsuya let himself be literally dragged to the mall by Anzu--the mean Anzu who enjoyed singling out people who didn't share her faith.

Anzu wanted so badly to grumble a few curse words under her breath. The little bitch would pay for his dare... She stopped in the middle of the corridor when she saw Honda.

Honda glanced at his watch then tilted his head back and closed his eyes. He'd been standing there for what seemed like forever, even though it had only really been ten minutes. He still wasn't sure why Katsuya had asked him to meet here, rather than at his house. He assumed it had something to do with a dare, but he had been a little scared to look to see what. He had a feeling that he would soon be regretting not looking.

Anzu pushed Katsuya in the direction of the brunette.

Katsuya, with tears in his eyes, hardly budged. "I don't wanna do this anymore...!" he complained.

"Then, would you rather kiss..."

Katsuya's eyes widened in anticipation.

"...me where the sun don't shine...?!" All the lack of swearing made Anzu's left eye twitch.

"Okay! Okay! I'll go...!" Katsuya ran towards his companion in embarrassment.

Hearing the suddenly hurried footsteps, Honda opened his eyes and looked over to see Katsuya rushing over. "Hey, there you are," he said with a relieved smile. He glanced over at Anzu walking up and raised his hand to give a small wave. "Hey, Anzu." Yup, based on the look on Anzu's face, Honda was definitely regretting not looking to see what Anzu had dared Katsuya to do.

"Hey, don't forget this," said Anzu as she tossed a microphone to Katsuya.

Katsuya, quite startled, only barely caught the mic. Before shakily holding it to his mouth, he stated, "I'm sorry, Honda-kun, but Anzu's making me do this..."

"Er, okay..." A dare involving a microphone, that certainly narrowed things down quite a bit. Honda glanced around nervously, noticing that the mall wasn't too crowded. Compared to, say, the week before Christmas. He wasn't sure why he was nervous, since it wasn't even his dare.

Oh, God, this was going to be so humiliating... Everyone was going to be watching, especially Anzu. If only Katsuya thought of a different dare for her... Well, he might as well enjoy it with his favorite song...

"Cry... naite iru no..." Katsuya bean to sing softly.

Honda paused, then looked over at Katsuya. The song sounded familar, but he couldn't place where he'd heard it. Since Katsuya was singing it, that gave a pretty good indication what type of song it was. He glanced at Anzu, then back to Katsuya as he wondered why Anzu had come up with this of all things.

"LOUDER!" Anzu shouted at Katsuya. Her scream caused some of the other shoppers to stare at her, then the singing blonde.

"M-monogatari sa..." Katsuya stammered. He raised his voice a little more. "Kimi wa hitori janai yo/Boku ra ga kokoni iru yo/Itsumo mune no naka de..." The crimson on his cheeks spread to his whole face. He could feel the eyes of the other people on him.

Ah, embarrassment, that explained it. Honda thought that maybe he should go ask Anzu how long this dare was going to last, but he was enjoying listening to the singing. The fact that it seemed to be directed at him was a little unnerving though, so maybe he should talk to Anzu soon.

"Nanimo dekinai keredo/Ko no uta wo todokeyou/We sing this song for you tonight..." If Katsuya hadn't closed his eyes tightly, he might've seen a tiny smile cross Honda's lips, which might encourage the shy boy. Katsuya heard some hoots and calls directed at him. He opened one eye, and, oh no, was Anzu gathering more people to watch...?

Honda was impressed by Katsuya's singing, even though he was obviously nervous and Honda knew he wouldn't be doing it if not for the dare. It was very tempting to just listen and ignore the less than ideal situation, but the noises behind him brought Honda back to reality. He slipped through the growing crowd until he was behind Anzu. "You do know that they're enjoying this far too much, right?"

Anzu spun around and snapped, "Yes, I'm highly aware of that!" She was disturbed by the lack of singing. Anzu then saw Katsuya staring shyly at Honda. "Get back to work! And with passion this time!"

Katsuya hastily turned his attention back to Honda and continued his song. "Stars mini wa mienai/So no kiseki ga..."

Honda raised an eyebrow and glance back and forth. "So, how long does he have to sing for?"

"He has to finish the entire song," Anzu answered. "Lucky for both him and I, it's only one song. I'm... kinda in a hurry to go do my own dare..." Another disturbing silence from Katsuya. "Hey, who said you could stop?!"

"Ah!" Katsuya was certain that the whole mall was watching. "Sotto hitomi wo tojite..."

"Your dare?" Now Honda was even more confused. "Which one? I haven't been keeping track of your journal comments." He when back to watching Katsuya. "And did you know when you made the dare that he's actually pretty good?"

"Ima sugu koko ni oite/Kimi no yume no naka de..."" The normally timid boy's brown eyes widened while his cheeks were burning.

"I still have to do what Pegasus dared me to do... and... I'm meeting Mana over there..." she grimaced at the horrible, horrible thought. "As for this, I just went for the embarrassment factor."

Katsuya neared the climax of the song. "Futari tsuzukete iru yo/dakara kyou wa oyasumi/We sing this song for you tonight..." He did see a few smiling faces in his audience...

"What did--oh, he's the one who made the gay bar dare? Figures." Honda glanced at the small audience with a some jealousy. "Any other interesting dares?" He was just seeing if he could keep her talking til the end of the song, rather than recruiting more audience members.

A bright pink colored Anzu's cheeks. "Th...that's all I have to do. M-Mana's coming with me just so that... other people... other women don't hit on me!" She glared at Honda, hoping he wasn't implying anything.

"You know you're not alone." Katsuya's song was about to be over. Hooray! As he finished the last chorus, he heard a few squeals and shouts. "Sing this song for you tonight..." Katsuya buried his red face in his hands, but was elated to hear his audience clap for his wonderful performance.

Honda clapped and smiled at Katsuya, then looked to Anzu in surprise. "You're taking Mana? Aren't you worried that'll give to other women the wrong impression? How old is she, anyways?"

"I really have no idea..." Anzu rolled her eyes. "Speaking of which, It's eight-thirty, and I must be leaving. Lines for these types of things are pretty long, you know." Anzu darted off without another word.

Katsuya, however, was too embarrassed to remove his face from his hands. He hadn't noticed Honda clapping for his song to him, even though he knew it was possible that he would be, along with the others in the mall. But, what if he didn't really like it...?

Honda stared at Anzu's retreating figure for several moments while he waited for the crowd to disperse as they realized that the show was over. Shaking his head, he slowing approached the blond through the mass of movement. "I think you made several people's day with that dare, Katsuya." He leaned slightly closer, ignoring the people still watching. "I know you made mine."

Slowly, Katsuya lifted his head from his hands to reveal his still blushing face to Honda. His heart pounded hard in his chest, but had a steady rhythm. "I... I d-did...?" A very modest smile crept on his face. "Th...thank you... Honda-kun..."

"You're welcome. Wha'd you wanna do now?" He glanced away nervously, so that he wouldn't start blushing too. "We can hang out here for awhile, or we can go back to your house if you wanted me to listen to your CDs tonight."

"Uh... heh. I guess you got a taste of my favorite music tonight, didn't you...?" Katsuya looked down and scratched his head. "All right... um... you sure you wanna do my dare? I'm... I'm not gonna force you like Anzu did to me..."

"Why wouldn't I want to do it?" Now Honda was confused again. Unless Katsuya had a huge collection or really strange taste in music, he didn't see what the problem could be. "I said in my journal response comment thing that it sounded fun."

"Oh, um... okay... L-let's go to my place... then." Katsuya began walking towards the exit with Honda. The way his friend's hand swung back and forth tempted him... Katsuya just wanted to grab Honda's hand and stroke it. But, that was enough being brave for one night.

Stepping outside into the chilly evening air, Honda shivered slightly and pulled his trenchcoat closer. "Heh, it's definitely fall weather now. You warm enough?" He glanced over and smiled at his friend.

Katsuya kicked himself mentally for bringing only a light jacket. But, he tried not to show how cold he was. Unfortuneately, he didn't quite convince Honda.

"Lemme guess, Anzu didn't give you time to grab anything heavier?" He sighed and stepped closer. "Walk closer to me, maybe that'll help."

Cautiously, Katsuya did as he was told. Was it just him, or did he have the feeling that Honda knew that he would be able to use Katsuya's crush on him to his own advantage? Katsuya indeed felt warmer...

"See, isn't that better already?" Honda was tempted to pull Katsuya even closer, but that would probably cross the line between friends and more. He glance up at the sky instead. "The stars are really nice tonight."

Well, that line sounded familiar... Katsuya looked up at the tiny dots in the sky as well. They all seemed to be smiling for him at this moment. He sighed and smiled back at them. "I know... but... we should... really be going..." Katsuya glanced quickly at Honda and back at his hands, folded in front of him.

"Oh, right, yeah. Sorry, didn't mean to stop." Honda sped up slightly, hoping that would also help Katsuya get warmer. It wouldn't take too long to get to his house if they continued like this.
